Across the Southeast, aquatic systems have been degraded by urban growth, resource extraction, working lands, and natural disturbance. Stream channels incise, floodplains disconnect, wetlands drain, and the habitat and the natural processes that once sustained them fall away. We design projects that reverse that trajectory, not just repairing what's broken, but setting rivers, streams, and wetlands on a path towards longterm recovery and sustainability.

Start with the Stressors

Every restoration project begins with the same question: what is actually degrading this system? We work alongside our clients to identify the ecological and functional stressors at play on each site, then search for the answers through field assessment, analysis, and modeling so that the restoration strategy targets the real causes, not the symptoms.

Design That Works with Nature

Our team brings expertise in ecology, hydrology, hydraulics, engineering, and geomorphology to every design. We use that knowledge and experients to restore a system's natural functions: channel processes, floodplain connection, sediment transport and habitat structure so that a project doesn't just look restored on day one, but keeps functioning as it adjusts over the years that follow.
