Water Resources Engineering

Supporting Healthy Watersheds, Riverine Infrastructure, and Vibrant Communities
Humans share a dynamic relationship with streams, rivers, and their watersheds. These natural resources are essential for drinking and irrigation and act as vital corridors for infrastructure, transportation, and recreation. Yet, our development practices often compromise these critical ecosystems by co-locating critical infrastructure within stream and river corridors.
Designing Sustainable Solutions
We partner with clients to develop water resources engineering solutions that preserve and enhance riverine infrastructure while maintaining ecological integrity. Our work ensures that ecosystem functions are protected, enhancing community benefits and supporting sustainable development.
Building Resilience Through Water Resource Management
We strengthen the resilience of riverine infrastructure through our comprehensive approach that includes detailed hydrology and hydraulic modeling studies to assess flood risks, evaluations for maintaining reservoirs, dams, and spillways, and the management of culverts and bridge crossings to support both transportation needs and aquatic organism passage (AOP). We also focus on safeguarding raw water intakes (RWI) and other critical drinking water infrastructure.
